Customer Support for the IBM BNT RackSwitch is available during normal business hours for the United States. These hours are normally 8 a.m. thru 5 p.m. Central Time Monday thru Friday. Every attempt will be made to meet your business needs during these hours. 

If you wish to open a support ticket, visit our Support Center. An IBM BNT Customer Support engineer will contact you via email, live chat or telephone. If known software issues are found, you may be requested to upgrade software. If a hardware issue is found, you will be instructed on how to return the affected hardware.

BLADE offers two classes of software

  1. Software Maintenance Releases (updates & fixes) - BNT is committed to supporting the current (N) release and prior release (N-1) for the life of the switch whether in or out of warranty.
  2. Software Feature Release which are enhancements in functionality. Select switches include a 3 year software license with purchase, while other switches offer optional software licenses for purchase. 
Make sure that you register yourself for access to Download Software to which you are entitled. For more information, please read the RackSwitch Baseline Software Definitions and Entitlements document.

Downloads

Firmware

You will need to create an account AND enter your serial number(s) & Premium Service license key(s) before downloading firmware to ensure your product is either within warranty or under support.

If you do not have Premium Support, you may only download an update to the same firmware revision as when you purchased your product. For example, if your product came with v1.0.7, you may only update to v1.0.x levels of firmware. If you would like to upgrade to newer versions, please purchase BLADE Premium Support.

Note: "Release Notes" has been renamed to "Change Log" to avoid confusion with the Release Notes published under Technical Documentation.
