Job Summary:
The Product Manager will develop & implement strategic marketing plans for multiple products through market research, competitive analysis, customer engagement, and business planning. Builds brand awareness, technology leadership perception and brand loyalty as well as generates qualified leads by leveraging various communications activities including public relations, sales collateral, advertising, website, and tradeshows and events. The Product Manager will report to the VP of Marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Product positioning & segmentation, competitive analysis, creating sales tools for business and technical audiences, presenting the product and solution value proposition to customers and other audiences and developing promotional programs.
- Implements and measures effectiveness of demand generation & lead management programs including web-based, tradeshows, customer care, user conferences and direct mail.
- Works closely with marketing and sales to identify principal markets and outline a communications strategy for penetrating these markets.
- Is responsible for the tactical implementation of corporate communications and product delivery programs.
- Develops sales collateral and advertising campaigns - both on-line and print.
- Works closely with our public relations agency to institute PR initiatives for promoting BLADE Network Technologies and our spokespersons
- Works closely with WW and regional sales teams to develop integrated cross territorial marketing campaigns for direct sales, channels and OEMs
- Selects, budgets, plans and manages events such as tradeshows and seminars, working with vendors and contractors as necessary.
- Manages website content and updates, working with marketing and website developers
- Represent BLADE Network Technologies at tradeshows and events.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years experience in marketing and communications within the high tech industry. Experience in networking industry a significant plus.
- Demonstrated success in implementing and managing outbound marketing projects & product delivery.
- Ability to interface with, manage and influence multiple internal and external resources on multiple projects to achieve desired results, on time, within budget.
